Meet Beth - Your friendly mobile dog groomer

Hi, I’m Beth! I’m an award-winning dog groomer with a huge passion for animal care. I’ve been grooming dogs for over four years, and for the last two, I’ve been running my own salon, The Barking Box. Now, I’m bringing my skills and experience straight to your doorstep with my mobile grooming service!

Before becoming a groomer, I spent over a decade working with animals in different roles—training in a vet clinic, volunteering, and working as a dog trainer and nutritionist. I’ve always been surrounded by animals, and now I share my home with two wonderful dogs: Pickle, a cheeky Shih Tzu, and Willow, my gentle Lurcher.

Since opening The Barking Box in 2021, I’ve been lucky enough to be nominated for several business awards and have even placed in national grooming competitions. In 2024, we were Highly Commended in the Best of Southwest Wales Business Awards—a huge honour! One of my proudest moments was also being featured on BBC’s Good Morning Britain for making my salon one of the first in the UK to recycle dog hair. My true passion lies in making grooming a positive experience for every dog. I specialise in desensitisation, helping nervous pups feel comfortable, and educating owners on how to make grooming stress-free. My number one priority is always your dog’s well-being—both physically and mentally. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend!
